With over 22,000 students and 3,400 staff members across 8 faculties (Faculty of Technology, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Law, and Turku School of Economics - TSE), the University of Turku is an international academic community hosting scholars from over 100 countries. UTU operates modern research infrastructure across three campuses: the central Yliopistonmäki (University Hill) campus, the Kupittaa Health and Life Sciences Campus (Medisiina D, ICT City, and BioCity in Turku Science Park), and a dedicated satellite campus in Rauma for teacher education.
