Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (東京農工大学 Tokyo Nōkō Daigaku / TUAT, colloquially known as Nōkōdai), founded in 1874 as the Agricultural Training Section and Silkworm Disease Experiment Section within the Ministry of Home Affairs, is one of Japan’s most prestigious and research-intensive national universities.
